Widows Journey

March 6 - 8, 2015

Being a widow is to be in a very lonely place.
People say, “Isn’t it wonderful he’s with the Lord,” and you want to yell, “No! He should be here with me.”

Spend a weekend with other widows where you are with people who understand. Come share your heart and your hurt and be encouraged as we remind ourselves that, hard as it is, our God is able. Learn from women who are where you are, women who have weathered grief and difficult times. Each presenter listed below is a national speaker and writer. And as widows themselves, they will share the journey with you.

This weekend is for widows of all ages and at any point in the journey.

You were absolutely the RIGHT speaker for us... More importantly was the servant heart I saw... your desire to please not based on your needs, but on ours: your willingness to adjust your talk at the last moment to meet our needs (a rare quality in a speaker): your vulnerability with your motivation keeping yourself pure. Thank you.
- Becky, retreat director

Rarely does a speaker so captivate me that I forget to take notes. You have that spell-binding capability. The light of the Lord shines so brightly from you that there is no doubt that you are in His will. What a blessing and an inspiration you were. I wish every woman in America could hear you.
